  • When an Auction ends and the Reserve Price has not been met or no bids were received, the listed Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items will be entered into Pit Lane.
  • Pit Lane is an Additional Listing Period of Thirty (30) to Ninety (90) days.
  • Any registered Bidder will have the ability to make a Final Offer to try and win the Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items.
  • Exclusive will work directly with the Seller and highest Bidder(s) to reach a deal.
  • Prospective Buyers have a chance to make a “Best & Final” offer that is presented to the Seller through the Exclusive Platform.

SELLER | BIDDER PROCESS

SELLER PROCESS

  1. Create your Membership Account and Login.
  2. You will automatically be assigned a User Paddle Number.
    • This Paddle Number will be displayed in the User Account Section, in your posted Auction History Emails and on ALL Platform Communications. It is used in place of your Name/User Name on public postings to protect your privacy.
    • The Exclusive Paddle Number system is similar to the Paddles assigned in a real live auction.
  3. Create your Payment Account (Must be created with a valid credit card with sufficient available credit).
    • $0 Listing Fee (There is NO Listing Fee paid by the Seller)
    • The Payment Account is required for any additional services such as CARFAX reports, etc.
    • In the event that Seller fails to make a purchased Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items available for delivery to Buyer within 48 hours (or other agreed upon time-frame) of full payment of the purchased Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items, Exclusive will return to Buyer an amount equal to the Buyer’s Fee (as hereinafter defined) if paid in full less any administrative charge incurred by Exclusive in processing the refund. Seller will not be entitled to the return of any fee(s) paid by Seller on account of that sale and will be liable to Exclusive for any amount refunded to Buyer and any fee or administrative charge incurred by Exclusive to refund the Buyer’s Fee to Buyer.
  4. Select Auction Category.
    • Race Cars (Race Cars, Race Motorcycles, Race Karts, Track-Day Cars, Track-Day Motorcycles, Race Trailers, Race Engines, Race Parts, etc.)
    • Street Cars (Tuner Cars, Exotic Cars, High Performance Cars, Resto-Mod Cars, Sports Cars, Hi-Perf Engines, Tuner Parts, etc.)
  5. Select Auction Type:
    • Reserve Auction
      • Seller sets Opening Bid Amount (Normally set to $0 or, at or below the wholesale value and set Reserve Price of the Listing. If Listing is accepted, Exclusive will work with Seller in setting a realistic Opening Bid Amount. Exclusive reserves the right to refuse a Listing with an unrealistic Opening Bid Amount).
      • Seller sets a Reserve Price (If Listing is accepted, Exclusive will work with Seller in setting a realistic Reserve Price. Exclusive reserves the right to refuse a Listing with an unrealistic Reserve Price).
      • The Listed Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items will only sell if the Bid amount meets or exceeds the set Reserve Price.
      • The Reserve Price may be adjusted by the Seller at any time during the Auction and/or Pit Lane periods through Exclusive’s Listing Adjustment Procedure.
    • No-Reserve Auction
      • Seller sets Opening Bid Amount (Normally set to $0 or, at or below the wholesale value and set Reserve Price of the Listing. If Listing is accepted, Exclusive will work with Seller in setting a realistic Opening Bid Amount. Exclusive reserves the right to refuse a Listing with an unrealistic Opening Bid Amount).
      • Seller agrees to sell the Listed Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items to the highest Bidder regardless of Bid amount.
    • Seller may adjust the Listing (text, photos, video) at any time during the listing period through Exclusive’s Listing Adjustment Procedure.
  6. Fill out ALL the requested information in the online submission form including (fields with an * next to them are required):
    • Year *

    • Carfax History (If you do not possess a current Carfax, Exclusive may be able to help you obtain a current Carfax for an additional fee)

  7. Add initial photos (Up to 6 initial photos may be uploaded. Please provide detailed photos from different angles, including exterior & interior, that will allow Exclusive to ascertain if the Listing meets our platform criteria. If your Listing is accepted, you will have the opportunity to add additional photos). 
  8. Add videos (Videos will be embedded via YouTube Video Link).
  9. Submit Listing for consideration.
  10. Exclusive will review the Listing and reach out to Seller with any questions and/or need for additional information (Exclusive reserves the right to review, edit, modify or refuse any Listing submitted for consideration).
  11. If Listing is approved, Exclusive will reach out to Seller with Approval Notification.
  12. Add additional photos (One Hundred Plus (100+) Total Photo Uploads Depending on File Size. Please provide detailed photos from many different angles including: exterior & interior, wheels, tires, brakes, underneath the vehicle and if possible, remove bodywork to show power unit, suspension, drive-train, etc. provide close-ups as needed).
  13. After Listing is fully developed, Listing will go into the Qualifying Period (the Preview Period wherein Exclusive Presents the Vehicle to Market).
  14. Listing will normally be scheduled to Live Auction by Exclusive upon completion of the Qualifying Period. Live Auctions are normally seven (7) days in duration.
    • Auctions Normally Start every Wednesday at 12:00 Pacific Time.
    • Auctions Normally End the following Wednesday at 12:00 Pacific Time.
  15. Upon receipt of a winning Bid, the Vehicle will go into Sale Pending status and no more Bids will be accepted.
    • Winning Bidder is responsible to pay the Seller in full within seven (7) days of Auction close.
    • Exclusive offers Facilitation Services to help facilitate and complete a smooth Sale/Purchase transaction between Buyer and Seller.
  16. If the Auction ends and the Reserve Price has not been met (or no bids were received in a Reserve or No-Reserve Auction), the listed Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items will be put into Pit Lane.
    • Pit Lane is an Additional Listing Period Normally lasting Thirty (30) to Ninety (90) days in duration.
    • Any registered Bidder will have the ability to make a final offer to try and win the Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items.
    • Exclusive will work directly with the Seller and highest Bidder(s) to reach a deal.
    • Prospective Buyers have a chance to make a “Best & Final” offer that is presented to the Seller through the Exclusive Platform.

BIDDER PROCESS

  1. Create your Membership Account and Login.
  2. You will automatically be assigned a User Paddle Number.

  3. Create your Payment Account (Must be created with a valid credit card with sufficient available credit).
  4. Place your bid.
    • The Auction will show an Opening Bid Amount as agreed and assigned by the Seller and Exclusive.
    • The Opening Bid Amount may be set as low as $0
    • All Bids must be in whole dollar amounts.
    • All Bids must be in $100 increments. Example: current Bid = $12,450, next Bid would need to be a minimum of $12,550 or greater.
    • You will receive an email and/or text confirming your Bid.
    • If you are Out-Bid, you will receive an email and/or text informing you that you have been Out-Bid.
    • All Bids placed are Final.
    • Sniping protection extends the Auction clock by two minutes each time a Bid is placed in the Auction’s final moments. The Auction isn’t over until two full minutes have elapsed since the highest Bid was placed.
    • A hold equal to the amount of the Buyers Premium (minimum $250 to maximum $5,000) will be placed on your credit card upon placing a Bid. If you do not win, the charge will be immediately released in full. Example: If you place a Bid of $25,000 on a listed vehicle, a hold of $1,250 (5% of the bid amount) will be placed on the credit card on file.
    • You will be notified by email and/or text if you win the Auction.
    • A 5% Buyers Premium will be charged to the credit card on file of the winning Bidder immediately at the close of the Auction. Example: If you place a winning Bid of $30,000 on a listed vehicle, a charge of $1,500 (5% of the winning Bid amount) will be placed on the credit card on file.
    • There are NO REFUNDS on the Buyers Premium.
      • In the event that Seller fails to make a purchased Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items available for delivery to Buyer within 48 hours (or other agreed upon time-frame) of full payment of the purchased Vehicle | Equipment and/or Items, Exclusive will return to Buyer an amount equal to the Buyer’s Fee (as hereinafter defined) if paid in full less any administrative charge incurred by Exclusive in processing the refund. Seller will not be entitled to the return of any fee(s) paid by Seller on account of that sale and will be liable to Exclusive for any amount refunded to Buyer and any fee or administrative charge incurred by Exclusive to refund the Buyer’s Fee to Buyer.

  5. Proxy Bids (Also know as Automatic Bidding)
    • Exclusive’s Proxy Bid System makes Bidding convenient so you don’t have to keep coming back to Re-Bid every time someone places another Bid.
    • When you place a Proxy Bid, you enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay.
    • The Seller and other Bidders do not know your maximum Bid.
    • The Exclusive Proxy Bid System will place bids on your behalf using the Automatic Bid Increment Amount, which is based on the current High Bid.
    • The Exclusive Proxy Bid System will only Bid as much as necessary to make sure that you remain the high Bidder or meet the Reserve Price, up to the maximum amount set by you (see Item 4. Bullets 1, 2, 3, of this Bidder Process FAQ).
    • You will be notified by email and/or text if your maximum Proxy Bid is Out-Bid.
