Formula Pro USA F4 completed rounds 3 & 4 at Auto Club Speedway in Southern California this weekend with temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s and optimal track conditions for a great weekend of exciting racing.
Friday was a practice day allowing teams and drivers time to optimize their car setups and get their drivers up to speed with the Auto Club Speedway track layout, including running 2/3 of the oval before running through the infield road racing course.
Saturday’s race saw Rayce Dykstra start in pole position battling back and forth with Marco Kacic with numerous lead changes between the two front runners. In the end Rayce was triumphant and took the win. The competition for third place was exciting in and of itself with Alan Tang, Kyle Loh and Alex Cornfeld swapping back and forth with multiple position changes throughout the race.
