Rayce Dykstra Joins Formula Pro USA Western ChampionshipsWorld Speed Motorsports and VMB Driver Development announced today that they would be graduating Rayce Dykstra into their F4 program for 2019. Dykstra secured the 2018 VMB FormulaSPEED Scholarship, and went on to finish the season as vice-champion with race wins at Sonoma Raceway, Laguna Seca, and Portland International Raceway. Dykstra was on the podium 11 times in the 14 race championship. When he wasn’t racing his FormulaSPEED, Dykstra competed in Spec Miata where he won his second consecutive championship.

We are really excited to be working with Rayce again this season,” noted VMB President Steve Brisentine. “Rayce has proven that he will put in the hard work needed to get the job done, and he is always a willing student of racing.” World Speed Principal Telo Stewart added, “When we started working with Rayce he had a lot of raw talent and drive, and we spent this past season really focusing on making improvements each and every session. Even when we met those goals Rayce wasn’t satisfied, he wanted us to gain as much ground as we could every time he put his helmet on. We know he’ll be great in the F4 car, and we can’t wait for the 2019 season to begin.”

Dykstra had this to add, “I am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to continue on with VMB and World Speed for the 2019 racing season in the VMB F4 car racing the Formula Pro USA Western Championships. I can’t thank Steve Brisentine and Andy Brown enough for the opportunity they have given me with the VMB Driver Development Scholarship. The Formula Car Challenge program was such a great experience and I was able to learn so much in the FormulaSPEED car.  I’m looking forward to the new challenges that the 2019 season has in store.”
