Exclusive Racing Auctions (EXR) specializes in Unique Listings that often require a longer timeframe to market and sell, hence we offer Unique Solutions to help achieve a successful sales outcome.
- Hybrid AuctionsĀ (Auctions + Buy Now/Make Offer | This is the Platform Default Setting)Ā Featuring the best of both worlds, Our Hybrid Auctions offer all the features of an Auction and a Buy Now/Make Offer ListingĀ (similar to a Classified Listing), in one package offering greater potential for a successful sales outcome.
- Upon Listing Publication, the Listing immediately goes into Live Preview PeriodĀ (until the scheduled Online Auction Period)Ā with Buy Now/Make Offer active allowing potential Buyers to pay the Buy Now Price or Make an Offer to the Seller.
- The Listing will normally be scheduled for the next Online Auction normally within approximately 14 days of Listing Publication.
- Normal Auction Timeline is SevenĀ (7)Ā Days with Auctions run Bi-Weekly.
- Custom Timelines may be available upon special request.Ā (EXR is the final determinator of any special requests)
- If the Listing fails to sell during the Auction Period, the Listing cycles back into the Buy Now/Make Offer Period for 7 days.
- If the Listing fails to sell during the Buy Now/Make Offer Period it will cycle back into the Online Auction Period for 7 days.
- This cycle continues until the Listing is sold or the Listing term expires.
- During Auction Periods:
- Reserve Auction OptionĀ (The Listing will only sell if Highest Bid amount meets or exceeds the set Reserve Price.)
- No-Reserve Auction OptionĀ (The Listing will sell to Highest Bidder regardless of Bid amount.)
- During Buy Now/Make Offer PeriodsĀ (The Listing will sell to the first Buyer that pays the Buy Now Price or Seller may accept Buyerās Make Offer Price.)
- Buy Now/Make OfferĀ (Features Buy Now & Make Offer Options)
- This option is similar to a Classified Listing in that the Listing will sell to the first Buyer that pays the Buy Now Price or Seller may accept Buyerās Make Offer Price.
- Upon Listing Publication, the Listing goes immediately into Live Buy Now/Make Offer Period for the duration of the Listing.
- Buy Now is activeĀ (Buyers may Buy the Listing immediately at the Buy Now Price.)
- Make Offer is activeĀ (Buyers may Make an Offer to the Seller lower than Buy Now Price and the Seller may accept such Offer at Seller discretion.)
Listing Options Full Descriptions:
Hybrid AuctionsĀ (Auctions + Buy Now/Make Offer | This is the Platform Default Setting)
- Ā Seller selects Auction type during the Listing Creation Process.
- Reserve Auction (The Listing will only sell if Highest Bid amount meets or exceeds the set Reserve Price.)
- No-Reserve Auction (The Listing will sell to Highest Bidder regardless of Bid amount.)
- Seller sets Opening Bid/Offer Amount.
- Opening Bid/Offer Amount will set the starting Bid/Offer Amount for the Listing.
- Default setting allows the Opening Bid/Offer Dollar Amount to show on the Listing in the Bid Box and Make Offer Box i.e. if Opening Bid/Offer Amount is set to $55,000, this amount will show in the Bid Box and Make Offer Box.
- Seller may select “Do Not Show” during Listing creation, in which case the Bid Box and Make Offer Box will be empty and show no dollar amount.
- An Initial Bid/Offer made below (no greater than 25% below) the Seller set Opening Bid/Offer Amount will be accepted by the Platform, at which point the Opening Bid/Offer Amount will reset to the Initial Bid/Offer placed, henceforth any Bids or Offers placed below the new reset Opening Bid/Offer Amount will not be accepted by the Platform.
- The default setting is $0, it is recommended that the Seller sets the Opening Bid/Offer Amount at or below the wholesale value of the Listing and below the Reserve Price set for the Listing.
- An Opening Bid/Offer Amount set too high may discourage Bids or Offers. Sellers should carefully consider the Opening Bid/Offer Amount they set for the Listing.
- If the Listing is accepted, EXR will work with the Seller in setting a realistic Opening Bid/Offer Amount.
- EXR reserves the right to refuse a Listing with an unrealistic Opening Bid/Offer Amount.
- Opening Bid/Offer Amount will set the starting Bid/Offer Amount for the Listing.
- Seller sets Reserve Price for a Reserve Auction. (There is no Reserve Price for a No-Reserve Auction)
- Reserve Price should be set to the lowest amount the Seller is willing to accept for the Listing.
- If the Listing is accepted, EXR will work with the Seller in setting a realistic Reserve Price.
- EXR reserves the right to refuse a Listing with an unrealistic Reserve Price.
- Reserve Price may Only be adjusted Lower by the Seller during the Listing Period through the Seller Dashboard.
- Seller sets the Buy Now Price.
- Default setting allows the Buy Now Price Dollar Amount to show on the Listing i.e. if Buy Now is set to $75,000, Buy Now will show $75,000 on the Listing Page.
- Seller may select “Do Not Show” during Listing creation, in which case Buy Now will show “Price On Request” instead of a dollar amount.
- It is recommended Seller sets Buy Now Price at or above the Reserve Price set for the Listing.
- If the Listing is accepted, EXR will work with the Seller in setting a realistic Buy Now Price.
