Facilitation Services Overview

Service Details

EXR offers a full suite of facilitation services to support buyers and sellers through every stage of the transaction. Whether you need a pre-purchase inspection, secure escrow, professional photography, title and registration assistance, or enclosed transport, our team coordinates the right resources on your behalf.

Facilitation services are available to all EXR listings and are provided through EXR or our vetted third-party partner network. All facilitation services are provided at additional cost unless otherwise noted. Buyers and sellers are not required to use any facilitation service and may select only the services relevant to their individual transaction.

Free CARFAX Reports

Service Details

EXR provides free CARFAX Vehicle History Reports™ for eligible listings. CARFAX reports offer buyers valuable transparency into a vehicle’s ownership, accident, and service history — building confidence before committing to a purchase.

CARFAX reports are automatically obtained by EXR and displayed on eligible listing pages where available. Availability is subject to the vehicle’s VIN and history data. Not applicable for race cars, engines, and non-VIN assets.

Photo Pro Packages

Service Details

Elite media is one of the most important factors in achieving a strong sale price. EXR offers professional photography packages through our third-party partner network to ensure your listing is presented at its absolute best — from high-resolution gallery photography to cinematic video.

Package options range from one-hour shoots to fully custom engagements. A full quote is provided before scheduling. Availability varies by location.

Pre-Purchase Inspections (PPI)

Service Details

EXR coordinates professional pre-purchase inspections through our nationwide network of ASE-certified inspection partners. A PPI gives buyers confidence and transparency about the true condition of a listing before committing to the purchase.

PPI reports are not required but are strongly recommended for all vehicle purchases. Buyers may also request an in-person inspection by themselves or their agent, subject to Seller agreement, prior to consummation of the sale.

If a PPI reveals a Major Undisclosed Defect, the transaction may be cancelled per the terms outlined in our Terms of Service.

Transport & Shipping

Service Details

EXR coordinates enclosed and open transport services through our professional transportation partners for domestic delivery across the contiguous 48 U.S. states. Our partners specialize in the safe, secure transport of race cars and high-performance vehicles — handled with the care your asset deserves.

Escrow Services

Service Details

EXR coordinates secure escrow services through our licensed third-party partners to protect both buyer and seller throughout the transaction. Buyer funds are held securely until all purchase prerequisites are satisfied — including PPI completion, ownership documentation, and any outstanding financing — before being released to the Seller.

Escrow services are strongly recommended for all high-value transactions. Fees and terms are determined by the escrow provider.

DMV, Title & Registration

Service Details

EXR coordinates nationwide DMV, title, and registration services through our third-party partners to safely and securely transfer ownership from Seller to Buyer across all 50 U.S. states. Services include completion of all tax, title, and licensing paperwork, documentation audits, DMV follow-up, and direct shipment of license plates to the Buyer.

Negotiations & Trades

Service Details

EXR can act as intermediary and negotiator between Buyer and Seller to help facilitate a successful transaction outcome. For sellers and buyers interested in trade opportunities, EXR works with both parties through the platform to explore and coordinate potential trade arrangements.

Brokerage Services

Service Details

Looking for something specific? EXR’s brokerage service offers worldwide search capability and manages the entire acquisition process on your behalf — from vehicle search and negotiations to financing and delivery. Whether you’re looking for a race car, a classic, or a one-off exotic, our team takes the complexity out of the search.

Finance Services

Service Details

EXR partners with a network of area and national lenders — including specialists in exotic, performance, and racing vehicles — to offer buyers a range of financing options. Our lending partners provide customized loan and lease programs designed around your specific needs. Get pre-approved through our network before you bid or buy.
