The Ligier JS F422 is the second-generation F4 single-seater developed by Ligier Automotive and Ligier Advanced Technologies. Available in two versions — one for the United States and one for the rest of the world — the JS F422 complies with the FIA F4 2022 regulations and is eligible for all FIA-homologated championships. It has been selected as the exclusive chassis for the F4 championships in France, China, India, and the United States, and can be fitted with different engines depending on the championship. Featuring a lightweight carbon fiber bodywork with a 50% increase in aerodynamic efficiency, adjustable front and rear wings, and a weight of 530 kg, the JS F422 also includes a cockpit halo bar, Zylon anti-intrusion side panels, and on-board fire suppression for enhanced safety.
